Making or founding Process

Moissanite is made from silicon carbide, which is a combination of hard silicon and carbon elements. Moissanite grew with silicon crystal, and it is pressurized by carbon.

Lab grown diamonds are made from diamond seeds. Here, the diamond seed has to bear carbon and other gas pressure at high temperatures. As a result, the seed started to take a rectangular shape. It is called as lab grown diamonds.

Natural diamond is not made, but they are found in mines. In other words, Natural diamonds are the solid form of carbon elements that are found in particular mines, and they are natural. There’s no
process for Natural diamond making.

Moissanite sparks with 16X better than
Lab and Natural diamond. Moissanite has a huge amount of sparkle reflected
through the surfaces due to silicon carbide elements.

Lab grown diamond sparks with brilliance and fire. But, it has low amount of reflection than Moissanite. Lab Diamonds have sparkle ability to compete with the Moissanite. After all, lab diamonds able to release more amount of fluorescence lights.

Natural diamonds are found in mines, so there is no chance to increase their brilliant appearance. Natural diamond has the required amount of sparkle, which
expected from the origin.

Moissanite has anatomies like table, girdle, pavilion, crown, and tick point.
There’s no difference between Moissanite and diamond anatomies.

Lab grown diamond anatomies have parts like a crown, pavilion, girdle, tick point, and table surfaces. Diamond parts
are known as anatomies.

Natural Diamond anatomies have the same names as a table, girdle, culet, crown, and pavilion. Diamond anatomy is the name of diamond's parts.

Clarity grade

Moissanite is also scaled at only VVS clarity grade because it is made with silicon carbide and there is less chance available for the inclusions. That's why Moissanite is available in only VVS grade clarity.

Lab-grown diamonds follow the clarity grade decided by GIA. Lab diamonds are available at IF(internally flawless) to I3(inclusions) clarity. But, superior clarity grades, such as IF and FL, are available in the lab-grown diamonds. VVS Diamond's clarity grade is used for making engagement rings and jewelry.

Natural diamonds are scaled at GIA clarity grade. In Natural diamonds, you can see the originated clarity grade because there is no chance to make them in a superior clarity grade. Natural diamonds scaled at IF to I3 clarity grade depend on the diamond inclusions on the anatomy.

Color reflection

Moissanite has rainbow color sparkle reflection due to silicon’s blue surfaces.

Lab diamonds have a of rainbow sparkles reflection due to only carbon elements.

Natural diamond has rainbow and white color reflection, but the amount of reflection is less than Moissanite. 

Symmetry and polish

Moissanite are also scaled at symmetry and polishing grade, which are decided
by craftsmanship. But in the market less people belives on the Moissanite's symmetry and polish. 

Lab grown diamond's symmetry and polish are decided by the facets and cutting styles on the surface. Diamond symmetry is the faceting lines on the anatomies which decides the light reflections.

A Natural diamonds pavilion and all anatomies faceting styles decide the grade of symmetry. Diamond polish depends on the shape giving process on the grading wheel.

Price

Moissanite is available 10-20% of the
total lab grown diamond price.

Lab diamond has 40-50% less price than Natural diamonds.

Natural diamond price very costly to buy for having more direct and indirect expenses. That’s why customers prefer moissanite and lab grown diamond.

Moissanite is made from silicon carbide artificially, which lowers the manufacturing cost. As a result, the price of Moissanite is cheaper.

Lab grown diamond-making needs skill and expertise. Lab diamonds are made from seed which is grown with time. That’s
why the indirect and direct costs are increasing and lab diamonds has +90% price than a Moissanite,

Natural diamonds are found in mines. So, acquiring cost of mines, digging process
cost, polishing process, and sometimes diamond is a blast on the grading wheel.
So, the seller covers the cost+ profit from the customer. All the diamonds and its substitutes sell with the cost+ profit = sale price.

Eco-friendly

Moissanite is totally eco-friendly because they not mined and affect the natural
cycle from the digging process. 

Lab grown diamonds are made in a laboratory, and the process is eco-friendly.
The lab diamond making method is used recycled water.

Natural diamonds are mined from land. They follow all regulations and conditions but the digging process of land decreases land fertility and makes it barren land that is not consumable.
